My name is Shelly Olson and I have been selling real estate in the area for the past 5 years. I became an agent after having a bad experience with another agent and thinking, "I could do a better job than that." I was also drawn to Real Estate because it provided me the flexible schedule I desired after having my first daughter. I love my job and I love helping people find the home of their dreams. Family is the most important thing in my world, so helping others find a place to house their family seems like the perfect fit for me. I currently live on Island Lake just north of Duluth with my husband, Peter, and my three daughters. I also do foster care for St. Louis County and I care for four other girls who are my daughters in heart. Our family loves living on the lake and we love being outdoors. Fishing, camping, hunting and four wheeling are just some of the many things we enjoy doing together. Our family also loves snowmobiling and we love watching my brother, DJ Eckstrom, race on the WPSA Pro National Circuit. When I started selling Real Estate it was in Esko, MN for a small local company and I transferred to Adolphson Real Estate when we moved to Island Lake.
